Better Than Home!!

5 of 5
Vicki did an amazing job to make sure we were comfortable. My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and we couldn't have chosen a better place. We spent early mornings and late nights fishing, and even caught a 30" bullhead saltwater catfish right off the dock. We spent our days out at many of the different local attractions. She has pamphlets and flyers for all the local restaurants, and attractions at your fingertips. The local Ingleside Vinyard she recommended to us, was definitely worth the trip. The house is clean, well kept and comfortable. She has a lot of the small conveniences that are easily forgotten, just in case. The beach is beautiful and the swans came by every morning. Vicki is a sweetheart to work with and even thanked us after for cleaning up before we left. Thank you Vicki for having us, we can't wait to go back!

Just Perfect!

5 of 5
The only disappointment about Beachcomber I was that we eventually had to go home! The house (beautiful and big), the location (in the center of town and only a block from the beach), the yard (securely fenced), the towels (big and fluffy) left nothing to be desired. We made arrangements to travel on Saturday evening and arrived on Monday afternoon - myself, my daughter and six children (ages 2-17). The house was clean, comfortable and roomy enough for all of us. With the eat-in kitchen, big and bright dining room, and two porches! who could want anything more? Especially useful to us were the wall hooks in each bedroom and bathroom and the stepping stool. Four days at Beachcomber I provided the perfect R&R for us after this miserable, never-ending winter. We hated to leave, but certainly will be back.

Peaceful and relaxing

5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is located on a beautiful peninsula jutting out into Monroe Bay. We spent a lot of time on the deck gazing at the relaxing waves while listening to the sailboats clink in the distance. The real world felt a million miles away. The house is also an easy walk to restaurants which was very nice. We would definitely stay there again.
