          Great house and location

          4 of 5
We enjoyed this house very much and would stay here again. The house had everything we expected. It was clean and appliances etc. were in good, working order. Location is great. We were able to easily walk to the beach, boardwalk or downtown area. We did have two minor issues... 1.We arrived on an unusually hot day, so it was over 95 degrees inside the house and it took several hours for the house to cool down. Once it initially cooled down, it remained cool for our entire stay. 2.The tree in the yard drops leaves that have prickers on them. The leaves were covering a good part of the yard making that area unusable by dogs or barefoot people. We stayed late in the year. I would imagine that the leaves on the ground are not an issue during the summer season.

          Nice place!

          4 of 5
As noted, the house has been newly renovated. Pictures don't lie - great layout and nice design. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. It was great having 3 bathrooms! There are several small beaches all within walking distance. None of them were ever crowded. We took a day trip to Westmoreland State Park - well worth the visit. They have some great hiking trails, beaches AND an Olympic sized swimming pool. Also took a tour at Ingleside Winery - had fun doing the wine tasting. My son, son-in-law and grandchildren went fishing with Captain "Frog" and had a great day! They caught plenty of fish which we had for supper that night. (I left Captain Frog's business card in the binder at the house.) Kids had fun riding the bikes provided by owner - nice small town so safe for kids to ride around.

          Great weekend get away.

What a fun and charming place for a get away! My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in July and it was just what we were looking for. It was relaxing and quiet yet only blocks from restaurants, the marina and the beach. The decor is fun and inviting and the patio and yard are nice for a cold beer or glass of wine when the sun drops. The kitchen was a huge plus for us as we love to cook and felt right at home cooking dinner one of the nights. The bed was comfortable and we slept like babies. The best part has to be the shower! Double shower heads each with their own temperature control make it feel like a spa! Seriously, I was blown away as most hotels don't even come close to something like that. All in all we had a great time and will be back!
