We loved Miss Kitty's place! It was neat, clean, comfortable and equipped with anything we could need. Our lab could not have been happier with the river so close by. We found and enjoyed the lake with its rope swing and beautiful waterfall. There were grills to be used and several places to sit outside and enjoy the peace and the views. The area is also steeped in history and small, pretty, historic towns. We'd love to come back with the grandchildren one day.

        A CLASS ON ITS OWN!!!!

It's hard to describe this place in just one word but I'll say it is MAGNIFICENT!!!! I went with my high school friends for our yearly gathering. The property is absolutely gorgeous, serene, open air. You come back all refreshed and full of positive energy. There are several houses on the property. The one we rented is the Castleton Meadows House. It has its own private pool and is surrounded by rolling hills, mountains, and trees. The house itself is huge with lots of beds, big kitchen, dining room, living room, and plenty of bathrooms one can literally get lost. It’s furnished simply and is very group friendly. The property has a SPA with state of the art steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming pool, dressing area, and lounge area with a ping-pong table. We spent half a day at the SPA and enjoyed the luxury immensely. In another building of the property, there is a theatre that seats 140 guests, and a highly sophisticated Bowling Alley. Farm animals are all around and you can see them grazing, sleeping, standing or just wanting to be petted. You can walk, bike, hike, drive, play tennis, swim, go horseback riding, or just sit and take in the view. The service – the owner is an absolutely delightful person and the staff very accommodating. The reservation process was very simple. We were provided with everything we asked hassle. Even the check-in/out times were flexible (as long as there were no guests waiting to check in). As for food, we cooked our own since that was our preference. If you like to go out to eat there are a couple of places within 15-20 miles and serve really good food. About half an hour away around the main highway you’ll find a shopping center with food courts, Starbucks, Wal-Mart, etc. You can also request a private chef to cook for your group. All in all, we loved, loved, loved this place and will be going back again and again. We highly recommend it!!! Thank you for an unforgettable weekend Castleton Farm staff:>)
