It was a vacation of a life time. Siren's Song lived up to and surpassed our expectations and we had very high expectations. It was like living in a dream. The views and the sunsets were spectacular. Sandy Bay Beach was so gorgeous that we sat there each day and couldn't believe that we had the whole beach to ourselves. The kayaks, chairs, snorkel gear, and paddle boards were ready for us to use. The grandkids loved, love, loved the big waves. They did a lot of fishing too. It was misting when we got off the plane and for the rest of the week we had sunshine. Who wouldn't love that pool? All of us, from 5 month old Hugo to 73 year old Grandpa were in it every day. Kylan, our first grader, learned to swim the length of the pool. Four year old Emily was proud of her cannonballs from the side of the pool. Oh, what to say about the beautiful villa…spacious, fabulous bedrooms with great views of the ocean, immaculate, open, yet warm and inviting. The big dining room table was just what we needed. The first night we arrived we hired Kat to do the cooking…that was a treat. We loved her food and she made enough to last for two days. We hired her again later in the week. We ate all six dozen of her chocolate chip cookies and her oatmeal raisin cookies were irresistible. She was very careful with our allergy issues. We were fortunate to have Pastor Whyte available for fixing things. He was a true gentleman and a pleasure to meet. We didn't hesitate to call the housekeeper, Heather, when we needed something. She was right there and willing to take care of us.
We are all living busy, stressful lives. Botany Bay with its 300 acres was just what we needed. We will always treasure our memories of Siren's Song.
