Second Time Just As Good--If Not BETTER

5 of 5
After last year's fantastic experience at Flamingo Point, the eight of us had to come back to get another dose of the fantastic accommodations and weather. We got everything we hoped for and more. This year has been such a pleasant experience AGAIN that we have booked Flamingo Point for a threepeat next January 2016. New living room furniture made watching the Patriot victory over Baltimore more comfortable and the kitchen equipment gave all of us opportunities to do just about anything one could imagine. Jami and Ron have bent over backward to make our journey such a treat. Thank you for sharing your home with us and we certainly look forward to doing the same again and again. The Diomandes Family

Can't beat the views!

5 of 5
It was 4 years ago that we stayed at Sea Breeze Villa and we came back because we remembered the views and the beautiful warm water. If you're looking for a private, spacious and quiet place to stay, and don't want to stay in cramped hotel, this is the place to be. The house comes with everything you need so just pack a carry-on because you don't need much. We enjoyed watching the cruise ships come in and sitting on the beach enjoying the sunshine, getting out of the cold weather at home. It was a great trip before Christmas. We had a wonderful time and the locals treated us like friends. Can't wait to come back. Thanks Ingrid!

Well-Appointed & Maintained, Quiet and Peaceful

5 of 5
We stayed in this unit with our 3 year old daughter. We had a great time, driving around in the golf cart, exploring the roads and beaches on the island. It was true that Honeymoon Beach got cruise shipped most days, but during our time the cruise shippers were not overly loud. The house is great, and we really appreciated that Angus provided all the extras for a beach vacation, like a cooler, boogie board, snorkel equipment, beach towels, and blender for drinks. The sea breeze was definitely more of a sea wind, and when a squall would roll in, it created some serious noise on the windward side bedroom. The pool was great to have next to the condo, but the water was suprisingly chilly. We used it once and were too cold to go in again (it was Feb.). There is nowhere to buy anything at all on Water Island, and the ferry schedule is limited, so you'll need to plan your food around it. There are groceries right at the St. Thomas side dock, and you can buy food on Honeymoon Beach at lunchtime which is pretty good. We bought food at the Honeymoon Beach grill one day and saved it for dinner. Lastly, Mark and Vicki were extremely helpful and you won't need to worry about anything with their help. Our golf cart got a flat tire on the way to the ferry one day, so Vicki picked us up immediately and got us to the ferry in time to make it. Make your reservation and you can stop worrying.
