We were fortunate to spend a week at the Villa & every minute there was heavenly. From the early stages of planning the trip, Colette was so friendly & helpful & couldn't have been nicer. I felt like I had met a new friend. I wanted this trip to be special for my daughters & granddaughter (graduating from HS), & it was special. It was such a blessing & the four of us have memories we'll treasure forever. We arrived late in the evening and were met at the airport by Bobbie & Bob, who are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. They escorted us (in our rental car) to the villa. When we walked down the entry path to the front door, I knew the place was going to be special. The inviting entry path with its tropical foliage led us to the delightful foyer with a special sign with all our names on it! Our eyes immediately caught the view of the ocean under the stars, just beyond the zero-edge pool. We entered the living area that opens to the beautiful kitchen, which would make any chef excited. The villa is beautifully decorated! The wall of sliding doors in the living area opened the entire length of the room & allowed us to enjoy the ocean breeze. The place has to be seen to be truly appreciated--pictures don't capture the beauty of it all. We had plenty of space with the 3 private bedrooms & each one had a beautiful view of the ocean, with its own private balcony.
Thanks to suggestions that Colette offered, as well as those from Bobbie & Bob, we went on several island adventures, & thoroughly enjoyed meeting many friendly people. From disco bingo & crab races at the Deep End Restaurant/bar, the Sweeny Tour, which included the Botanical Gardens, Cruzan Rum Factory, beer drinking pigs; as well as Horseback riding; ferry over to the Hotel on the Cay beach in Christiansted, & several other beaches along the way. We were told by locals about the tradition of wearing "hook" bracelets, so we went to Sonya's and got ours. We ate at Duggans, Cafe Christine's, Galleon & The Deep End-all were excellent! Our favorite excursion was the sailing/snorkeling trip to Buck Island with Capt. Carl & Dana. They were so friendly & helpful & sailing is the way to go. It was a relaxing day! We all hated to leave Villa Paradiso. It was truly an island paradise. Thank you Colette & your husband Tim, & Bobbie & Bob. We really appreciated everything you did to make our vacation so special. Can't wait to return. Sincerely, Gail, Christine, Kimberly & Sydney
