Little piece of heaven!

5 of 5
My boyfriend and I traveled to STT for our babymoon in March 2014 (5 nights). We stayed at the Morningstar Villa Efficiency Suite and LOVED every minute there. Perfect for a couple. It was clean, beautiful, comfortable and easy to locate and the Brownings were very helpful and made us feel right at home during our stay. The view is lovely. We rented a Jeep and found this to be a great way to get around and explore the island. Would love to come back. We hope to take a trip on Mr. Browning's boat next time we visit. Would highly recommend this place- better than we expected!

Beautiful, affordable, personal

I'm really reluctant to talk about how much we loved staying here, because it's just going to make it more popular and more expensive. :) That said, we did indeed love our stay here. As other reviews have said, what you see in the description is what you get: the room looks like the pictures, the view looks like the pictures, it's all well maintained, etc. The only thing it's worth understanding is that a) it's not easy to get to a beach without a rental car, and b) the view is from the outside patio, not from the room. We were absolutely fine with both of these; we often sat outside sipping coffee and just looked out at the beautiful view of the ocean. If you want to be on a beach, just drive to a beach. There are many, and they're essentially all public! Corlette and Kenneth were infinitely welcoming and helpful. We got to have several long conversations with them, and they pointed us to a little local restaurant favored by locals that was cheaper than the tourist traps, delicious, and gave us an opportunity to sample some more local fare. It's a wonderful gem, a perfect little cozy getaway for a couple escaping the winter. We plan on returning!
