Bay Breeze

5 of 5
The name is legit, high up a hill, pleasant breezes keep the warm tropical air from overwhelming you. There is a/c but never turned it on in a week. The views are amazing, both from the villa and the pool, which is down two flights of stairs. The owners were pleasant and attentive, but not overbearing. About equidistant between two supermarkets, Pueblo and Food Center....went to Pueblo first before later discovering Food Center was nicer and has better selection. Centrally located between Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook where you catch ferries to St. john or BVI. Grill makes for easy self-catering, or there are a number of places to eat that are good and not too long of a drive. To get the great views, you do need to drive up a good sized hill....probably need a designated driver, would not attempt it after a few strong rum punches. highly reccommend.
