Paradise in st. john

5 of 5
Moon cottage was one of the most special settings for a vacation that my wife and I ever had. We have traveled to many wonderful settings but there is something about moon cottage that is so unique. From the first moments of communicating with Brian (owner), I was assured that MC would be the right place to spend our holiday. He provided great travel and on island information. The days of exploring st. John were easily topped by our late afternoon swims and evenings spent relaxing on the MC porch. All of the furnishings were extremely luxurious and provided the backdrop for the ultimate relaxation experience. I still fine myself day dreaming of the view from MC while at my desk. Thanks brIan and MC for making our st. John vacation wonderful! Steve and Megan

Tortola Adventure started with the driveway...! and continued from there...

4 of 5
The trip to Tortola was in the off-season. Our first impression of Tortola, was similar to that of St. John... that locals were much more friendly on this island than on St. Thomas. The adventure started with the steep driveway... Man do they like their steep roads and driveways on Tortola. The island was a bit slow in the off season, and many places were closed, but the places that were open were great. The initial impression of the Tortola Adventure condo was that it was a little more rustic than displayed in the photos. But by the conclusion of the stay, the location became a very comfortable base of operations and we settled in nicely. The views are amazing and sleeping with the doors open was awesome. Thankful for the mosquito nets, because the buggers were out with a vengeance after the rains. The WiFi access was crucial in planning out our days, although cable and dsl connection on the island is spotty and inconsistent. Hopefully Tortola will improve its information backbone in the days to come... We had a great time and great weather in Tortola, it only rained once at night during the 4 day stay (during the hurricane season) while we were there. We drove all around the island from West End to Trellis Bay. Got out into the water to SUP at Cane Garden Bay, rented a great 24' boat from Mark and Katrin at Island Time Powerboats and visited the Baths at Virgin Gorda, snorkeled Ginger Island, Cooper Island, the Indians, the Bight and the Caves at Norman Island with the help of Captain Lou. Great meals at Long Bay Beach Club (Long Bay), Myett's (Cane Garden Bay), Sharky's (Royal BVI Yacht Club), Captain Mulligan's (Nanny Cay), Watering Hole (Road Town) and Brandywine Estate Restaurant (Brandywine Bay). Enjoyed the drinks at Peg Legs (Nanny Cay), Myett's (Cane Garden Bay), Brandywine (East Road Town) and a stop off at Stoutt's Look Out for a Look Out Punch a must. Captain Mulligan's a great place to catch a meal, drink and watch some sport. Dove off the Willy T at the Bight, enjoyed a few Painkillers at the Soggy Dollar Bar, and even visited Foxy for a serenade on Jost Van Dyke. We fit a lot in on our 4 day stay in Tortola and coming back to enjoy the view from the infinity splash pool was always a plus.... All in all we enjoyed our Tortola Adventure and the location was a great base of operations. The Virgin Islands are a water sport adventurers play ground. Great people, great views, great beaches, great water and great fun.....!

Beautiful landscape with spectacular ocean view

5 of 5
In March 2014 our family of two adults, two teenage daughters and their two classmates visited the US Virgin Islands for a relaxing get-a-way in paradise. When researching a quiet and family oriented place to stay for the six of us, we chose the pristine white sand beaches and cobalt blue ocean of St Croix. Over the past 10 years we have stayed to several 5-star resorts within the Caribbean, but this last trip in a large and comfortable 3-bedroom unit is perhaps our favorite, given the beautiful landscape and spectacular ocean view. This fully loaded condo is located in a convenient spot with access to restaurants, several public beaches, stores and shops. During our stay, the owner came by for a walk through of the unit making sure we had WiFi connectivity and that we were comfortable right from day one. The owner also checked in with us a couple of times making sure we had everything we needed during our seven night stay. If you're looking for a quiet location within a gated community minutes away from Christiansted and several surrounding beaches, we highly recommend staying at this VRBO location. Enjoy you stay, Mark & Jessica from Alpharetta, GA.
