A quiet and secluded retreat that is central to everything.

5 of 5
A beautiful condo. It feels like someone’s home, instead of a rental. All of the rooms are nicely decorated. The photos don’t do the view justice. We saw one rainbow in the distance and another that looked like it was right outside of the apartment. This is also the first rental that I have stayed in that I was not hot during any point of the day. There is plenty of cross ventilation due to window next to the front door and the apartment being located on the side of a hill. The patio with the grill and table is also a huge plus. The condo is at the end of a long road, so it was very quiet. The Mahogany Run Grill and the Olde Stone Farmhouse are close and worth multiple visits. There is also Simply Italian and the sports bar across from it, located only 5 minutes away. Be sure to visit Magen’s Bay Beach or Hull Bay Beach as a quieter alternative. The car ferry to St. John’s to see Cinnamon Bay and Trunk Bay is definitely a must see. Skip the Mandahl Market and Cost U Save (more like a Costco with everything in bulk) and visit the Tutu Park Mall ten minutes away. It has a bank, Walgreens, Kmart, Subway, McDonalds, a gas station and Plaza Extra, which is a full grocery store like you would see in the States. I was surprised this was not mentioned in the welcome packet. I would return to this condo and would recommend it to friends.

35 days of paradise!

5 of 5
Our family spent 35 wonderful days at Whale Watch while house-hunting on St Thomas. The villa was so comfortable, peaceful, quite and decorated beautifully. Though our stay was in the heart of summer, the fresh breeze kept the villa nice and cool. Even during the day, we rarely needed the A/C. We have two young girls that, like us, absolutely loved the villa. Our three year old actually learned to swim in the pool. We hated to have to leave.
