              BLISS IN FISH BAY

              5 of 5
Cactus Flower Cottage is a excellent, affordable place to stay on St. John! My wife surprised me with a long weekend stay in this beautiful home and we didn't want to leave! This well maintained home is located just a short 5 minute drive from Cruz Bay. Fish Bay is a quiet neighborhood with lots of hiking / walking options. Being St. John residents we enjoyed our stay-cation here. The pool is amazing, the kitchen was perfect for us to enjoy some nice dinners on the porch and enjoy all the comforts we don't have at home! I highly recommend staying here! It's perfect for couples and I plan on recommending it to all our friends and family that plan on visiting us.

CUTE COTTAGE IN ST JOHN - COQUI COTTAGE

              4 of 5
We rented the cottage for 7 nights and had a great time. Beth and Ray have created a cute getaway cottage that has everything that you need. The king size bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, the kitchen is small but functional, grill is brand new, there are coolers and beach chairs available and best of all, the price is reasonable. I would recommend that you get a car because the cottage is about a 15 minute drive back into Cruz Bay and I don’t think it would be easy for a taxi to find you in this private getaway. Overall we would definitely recommend Coqui Cottage for your stay in St John.

              BEAUTIFUL AND RELAXING AS PROMISED!!

              5 of 5
Our first visit to St. John and first real vacation together, we were looking for someplace secluded and special to stay, and Fish Bone exceeded all of our expectations! The photos depicted the villa perfectly, the amenitites more than met our needs, and we cannot comment enough how wonderful the views and breezes are, along with the soothing sounds of the ocean and excellent stargazing at night. The outdoor shower was an awesome bonus, one which could not be experienced at a hotel! I especially loved the artwork (that I realized halfway thru the week were all painted by Joan, the owner), and was fortuntate to bring home a painting depicting the view of Fish Bay so that we can wake up and go there "in our minds." We rented a jeep on St. Thomas and brought the car barge over (Discount Car Rental, recommended for lower pricing and excellent service). Gina (manager and island contact for Fish Bone) was willing to answer questions in advance of our trip and helped to set up a private yoga session for us on Gibney Beach which kicked off our week. While on the island, we wanted to "do it all" which we did...Fish Bone is conveniently located (close to Cruz Bay but also to many other beaches, visit Francis Bay for excellent snorkeling and turtles). Cloud 9 is highly recommended for a day sail to BVI and Jost Van Dyke; Mixed Bag for sportfishing! Both were excellent adventures!! We were fortunate to catch some fresh fish which we brought home to grill, and the lettuce and herbs growing at the villa were a wonderfully fresh addition to our meal! Barb and Cary from Paradise Massage even came to the Fish Bone to give us a couple's massage on the porch in the shade...paradise for sure! And don't miss out on the drive to Coral Bay where you will see donkeys and goats roaming the island freely. Kayaking out of Cinnamon Bay allows you to find hidden beaches with many other island treasures. Overall a perfect trip and we definitely plan to return, hopefully soon!
