A fabulous location for a remarkable getaway

5 of 5
I booked Villa Mirino for a family vacation for myself, my wife, 4 of our adult children, 3 spouses, and my 18 month old granddaughter, a total of 9 adults and one infant. I can't recommend this property highly enough. The owners were extremely helpful in providing recommendations and even putting us in touch with a driver who we used all week and who was one of the highlights of the trip. The views are breathtaking, and one of our favorite activities was sitting on the deck, taking an occasional splash in the pool, and finding time to relax together. Redhook is very close and had a wonderful collection of restaurants, and also an excellent market where we were able to resupply regularly. One thing I want to point out is that, when I looked at the pictures ,I was concerned that the Villa might be small for 9 adults but it is actually much more spacious than I expected or than it appears from the photos. We were extremely comfortable and had plenty of space, and privacy. If you're thinking of staying on St. Thomas I would definitely recommend this Villa. I'm sure you'll enjoy it just as much as we did.

The finest rental anywhere

5 of 5
This was possibly the nicest rental I have ever experienced. We loved the neighborhood. If you hate crowds and love a view, this villa is perfect for you. The location is super convenient for all the excursions that depart from Red Hook. Gail takes great pride in her property. It was impeccably clean and well appointed. Every detail she thought of was pleasant surprise. There was even a selection of sun hats to accompany the beach chairs and towels. The kitchen has every tool and gadget to make you feel at home. Even the knives were first rate and sharp! A nice special touch. The beds are super comfortable. The hot tub is welcoming. The view will knock your socks off. I can't wait to come back!

Great Views!

5 of 5
Our family of six just returned from a week at Sea Sound Villa. We had a great time and would love to visit this home again. The house is clean, comfortable and accurately shown in the posted photos. The owners are easy to reach and are very helpful. Outside, the views from the large wrap-around deck are fantastic! There are several lounge chairs around the pool, there is a large table that’s great for breakfast or evening cocktails and around the corner there is a big hammock for napping. Inside, there is a well equipped kitchen, a dining area, a large living room and two large bedrooms with attached bathrooms. My two teenage children slept on the large sectional sofa and were comfortable. Below the deck, there is a smaller “apartment” that is perfect for a couple. We spent several mornings on Pelican and Sapphire beaches below the house. You walk down a paved road with a short hike through the trees at the end to access the beach. The road is a bit steep in spots, but my 82 year old mother was able to make it fine. There are lots of beach chairs at house if you want to take them along. We enjoyed the homes east end location. You are only about a five minute drive to lots of restaurants, bars and shops in Red Hook. We liked that the house feels secluded, but you can grab a quick lunch or run to the grocery store without lots of driving. Thanks Laurie and Denis!
