Great Vacation!

5 of 5
We had an amazing time in this condo. Great location, clean, convenient and comfortable. We love it here and hope to be back sooner than later. Me, my husband and 6 year old son enjoyed this vacation thanks to Nathan's home away from home. You will too!!!

Excellent vacation

5 of 5
I love Caribbean, and I think, I probably visited most of the places. Belize, Cancun, Dominican republic and etc. I usually go for 4 or 5 star all inclusive resorts, and cruises where you don't have to think about anything : food, entertainment essentially, you don't have to think of anything and this time, I decided to do something different. I wanted to try St. Thomas. Everyone is raving about St. Thomas , so I decided to give it a try and now I have to say, that was the best vacation, I ever had. Beautiful views- first of all, the island looks different, I think it has volcanic origin, so it is surrounded by green mountains and it looks amazing. The condo is right on the beach and the views are amazing. . Because the island is surrounded by other islands that act as wave breakers, there are no waves. That is why it is great for snorkeling, it has coral reefs, tons of fish that swim right around you and spotted sting ray. I stayed at Sapphire beach condo C-204 unit and the owner left two pairs of professional snorkeling equipment free to use. Since there are no waves, it is a perfect place for water paddling or kayaking. Kayak rental costs $15 per hour. The water- The water was amazing, it is so clear and warm, you can literally go into the water and stay there for 2 hours. The temperature itself is very comfortable and there is always a little breeze. When I stayed there the temperature was 84 degrees, and we had the doors to the balcony open, and we didn't even have to use air conditioner it was that comfortable. The condo itself was great, It had new kitchen it had two LCD tvs, with cable channels, including Cinemax . The kitchen comes equipped with electric oven, microwave and big fridge. It has everything you need to cook, pans, plates, cups. The food shopping is relatively nearby, but I took a taxi anyway to Food Court, it is a big store it has a better selection and great prices for liquor. Don't buy anything at the airport their prices about 30% higher. Overall, like I said it was the best lazy vacation, I ever took. The nature is so beautiful, the water, the ambiance of the place and it was not crowded at all. I loved the place, I loved the condo, and big thanks to MIchael for providing excellent service and thanks for our best vacation

Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place met my expectations, actually more than I expected We stayed in A5 July 14th-July 19th. The view from the balcony is spectacular. Pure beauty, I would sit there watching the horizon as much as possible. The rooms were just as shown on pictures. The kitchen was fully stocked, I think the kitchen was stocked with just as much things I have in my own kitchen. The place was overall clean & neat. At one point we had a water pressure issue but maintenance had it fixed it the next day and let us shower in another unit that was vacant for the day. The location was perfect for us. Quiet and peaceful but a short drive to the fun areas like RedHook and other restaurants. The shuttle bus to Beaches & Redhook was very convenient. I would recommend arranging cell service if you can, or renting one during your stay. I found it annoying having to ask random restaurants or bars to make calls for transportation for us. I'm glad we did not rent a car, the driving on the left side of the road confused us each and every time - even though it wasn't us driving. The roads are also very curvy and dark at night. I think the amount we spent on taxi's was less than what we would have spent on renting a car. Panga is the only restaurant on location at the moment. We attempted to visit the place on a Monday only to find out they are close Monday and Tuesdays. The was a disappointment to walk all the down a hill (not easy). Then back up the hill in the heat. If they were open we could have had a shuttle or cart drive us back the hill. I'm not in best shape, so if your average fit the walking up hills shouldn't be a problem. My husband had no problem, I on the other hand had to take breaks along the way. Best of all was the staff of the resort. They were all so friendly, hospitable and almost like family. I hope to go back again next year.
