Good week

5 of 5
Three of us rented the upstairs unit, and enjoyed it immensely, even if Gonzalo did try to brush us off. The unit was clean, nicely furnished, close enough to town for easy walking, and the pool was there for relaxing. The ladies running it were excellent, with support transport to/from ferry, and other places as needed. Dive shop was less that .25 miles away, town less than a mile. Beds slept well. It was solidly built and when Gonzalo threatened, rapidly shuttered for our protection. All in all, a very enjoyable week.

Lovely Villa in Paradise

5 of 5
Great views , loved the pool and dining area that overlook the turquoise water and other islands. Watched the Iguanas in the trees while drinking morning coffee . Lots of privacy for 3 couples or families , as all bedrooms and baths are separate . Great location , close to Cruz Bay , with lots of great restaurants , a wonderful market and the beautiful north beaches. Tastefully decorated with local art . Wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Tropical Paradise

5 of 5
My December trip to St. John couldn't have been better. Location, Location, Location. This vacation house was perfect. On a hill overlooking Cruz Bay, it has spectacular views and is surrounded by lush tropical greenery and singing birds. It is close enough to walk down to restaurants and shopping, but believe me, even if you are a runner like I am you really need to rent a car to get back and forth. It is hilly! A lot of great snorkeling and hiking spots are just a short drive away, besides all the other water sports available to arrange in town. St. John is the least developed of the U.S. Virgin Islands, since two thirds of it is protected Virgin Islands National Park. This sets it apart from all other islands and beach resorts I have ever visited. It is gorgeous and still not overcrowded. And the comfortable accommodations made it perfect. The quiet and private living quarters had all the necessary amenities combined for a relaxing stay. My favorite restaurants were Sun Dog in Cruz Bay and for a very special romantic evening, a short drive away is Asolare. I felt like I was on the Amalfi Coast enjoying wonderful cuisine, looking from the hill top at a gorgeous sunset over Cruz Bay.
