Wow !!!

5 of 5
This was our first time to the island so we booked this unit based on its reviews and location. Boy - we were not disappointed!! From the moment you get off the ferry, you are literally within 5 minutes walking or driving distance to the condo. The management company is attentive and made sure they were available for our arrival or anything we needed during our visit. The unit itself was very clean, had quality furniture and linens, and had everything you could possibly need to get started (shampoos, detergents, beach towels, soaps, beach chairs, noodles, inflatables, multiple sized coolers, ice). We were not expecting all these things to be there so there is no need to bring much, which is especially helpful for people traveling with kids! In addition, I want to point out that the sleeper sofa looks brand new (different from the pics online) and its beautiful. Even the balcony furniture is new (again different from pics) and includes 2 high tables and chairs for 6 so you can see the amazing view even better. We had 7 people and there was plenty of space. We would often walk to town to buy fish at The Fish Trap or groceries at the Dolphin Market, both of which were a short walk. The grocery store has everything you could possibly need to get by, so not to worry if you like cooking in!!! After a great day out exploring the island, we always came back for a dip in the pool or in the jacuzzi. We plan to go back again soon and would not hesitate to stay at Jim's place!! It was a fantastic home away from home.

home away from home

5 of 5
this was my 3rd year in a row staying here. I already have my 4th stay in the plans. I love staying here, its close to town and easy to get to. I love the views over the balcony and the daily rainbow in the morning. The homeowners have come like family! they are great!!! the condo is clean and lively, has everything you'll need to feel like home! this review is giving away a great secret, you'll love it here.

Very nice and affordable

5 of 5
I have taken way too long to write this review. Hillcrest villas was a very nice and affordable place to stay if you are on a budget. The room is very close to bars and restaurants in cruz bay. It is a great place to stay if you are not planning on renting a vehicle. Phyllis is extremely accommodating and gives you plenty of food and drinks to begin your vacation. We stayed in a one bedroom/one bath unit on the 2nd floor. It is not very big but perfect for the 2 of us. When we go to st. john, we explore the island,. This is not the place to stay if you are looking to be pampered. It is the place to stay if you want a nice place in town and are not planning on spending too much time there. Hillcrest also has beach chairs, coolers, sporting equipment and other items to entertain yourself on vacation. It was a great place to stay and we hope to go back soon. Thanks Phyllis!
