Our Happy Place :-)

5 of 5
My wife and I recently stayed at “Into the Mystic” for the second consecutive year. Within one short day we realized how much we love and missed this place. The sunrise over Coral Bay is nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were still captivated by the view and spent the bulk of our time in the large outdoor living space enjoying our morning coffee and breakfast. We were fortunate enough to be there during a full moon – watching it rise over the bay was amazing. A new grocery store opened at the bottom of the hill, which was extremely convenient. The prices were competitive and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We spent a lot of time this trip dinning at the Aqua Bistro – Friday is “Tuna” night and not to be missed. Can’t wait to be back next year! Thanks Sharon -

best kept secret in the caribbean

5 of 5
this is our second time to stay at mooncottage and our third time to st john. the first time we came here, i researched villas and based on the reviews and amazing photos i booked mooncottage though i wasnt really sure what it would be like (sometimes photos can be misleading). well....the truth is that nothing you see online can prepare you for what you'll experience when you first set foot in this place. photos alone do no justice to the glory of this place. the cool trade winds in the evening, the moon rising over tortola, the sweet smells of the forest around you, the view...ah the view....it's just not the same in a photo. when you wake up in the morning and lift your head - you look just across the pool to a view of the sea and the island of Tortola and you hear only the sounds of nature. also, every little detail has been considered...and if something that you need is missing, there's a good chance Brian will find it for you. We're about as anti resort as you can get....we like privacy and charting our own path when we travel. Mooncottage is completely private but still close to several good restaurants and two nice grovery stores...and if you're into cooking as we are the kitchen is well equipped with all the hardware you need! we have stayed at one other villa near mooncottage that was pretty nice...and a bit cheaper....but you get what you pay for....and we've decided that we'll never stay anywhere else when we come to st john.

Great House Best Vacation

5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay here in ChinCherry. The home was spacious and spotlessly clean, and very very comfortable. Kenneth Prince was so helpful and a great person. Everything we needed was provided for - beach towels, beach chair, cooler, bbq, and a full kitchen, the bedrooms were quiet and air conditioned and the view from the balcony's was stunning. A must thing to do is to view the sunrise its just amazing. The pool was great after a long day on one of the many relaxing beaches on St John. I will agree that driving to the villa is a bit of adventure. Must see beaches we visit were Trunk bay, Honeymoon bay, Cinnamon bay, Maho bay and Salt Pound bay. If your in Cruz bay for good food visit Virgin Fire and for the best Bfast go to The Landing next to the ferry dock.
