Island Stones advertising promised a luxurious villa with some of the best views on St. John and it delivered in spades.
Our extended family group of ten adults (22-60) and an infant spent an amazing week at this island paradise. The house's architecture is a perfect compliment to the lush hillside in which it sits overlooking Cinnamon Bay and the BVIs. It is a setting where you could stay for a week and never feel compelled to venture out for other activities. That being said, the local beaches with great snorkeling, chartered fishing, endless shopping on St. Thomas, etc. are a lure.
While this is not a vacation spot for families with young children or mobility impaired individuals, it was delightful for our group of adults who were agile enough to navigate the paths and stairs of stone. The roads take a bit of getting used to and the grocery shopping/dining out is a bit pricey on the island, but if you are at all adventurous you will find this a trip worth making and Island Stones a villa worth splurging on.
