We had a fantastic Labor Day weekend staying in this house. The property is beautiful and very well lit in the day time--you will never need to turn on a light until the sun goes down. The dining room table has a skylight directly over it which makes it a gorgeous area to dine at any hour of the day. The house also has EVERYTHING you could possibly need, from extra sheets, batteries, towels, a yoga mat, toothbrushes, books, board games, a croquet set, and every television channel possible (including a smart tv that can play Netflix and Hulu directly from the television). Spend some time going through the cabinets in the kitchen--you would be amazed at how well-equipped it is. There is a food processor, blender, fondue pot, a crock pot, and pots and pans in every possible size. The dining area and living room are all connected, so it's a great area for 4 people to hang out together but also have their own space. You could have a great time hanging out at the house, going to a local lake, going for a hike in the area or at any of the nearby ski mountains, or going into the adorable town. The general store, Gillingham's, the Yankee bookstore, and the Butcher shop were among our favorite places. There is also always a movie playing at city hall, and tickets are extremely cheap. The only thing that I did not like was the number of bugs; there are a lot of mosquitos at night. But the house has a ton of bug spray as well as tiki torches that repel bugs, so you can still sit outside and not get completely eaten alive. Otherwise, we had an amazing stay and will definitely be returning soon.
