Great cozy getaway!

5 of 5
This place had everything our group needed and more. Kids had a blast in the game room, cooks had an amazing kitchen to prepare the meals and our skiing friends were close to the slopes. Owner was great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had the entire time from booking up until our stay. We'll be back for sure. Highly recommend this property to large groups looking for a great place to get away with friend and/or family.

MLK Weekend - Great House

5 of 5
Had a great stay over the MLK weekend. Three families fit just fine in the house. Nice layout so everyone had their own space. Irene was fantastic throughout the entire process. Very helpful in getting us squared away. Community clubhouse was a nice feature for the kids after a long day at the mountain. We had a great time and the home was warm and inviting. Will be back for sure!

Beautiful home with gorgeous views

5 of 5
After vacationing at the beach earlier this summer, we knew we wanted a change of scenery. After looking at many rentals in Vermont, we knew this home would be perfect for our group of four couples. We had a wonderfully relaxing, stress-free week! The home was at the end of a very quiet road, with beautiful views. Martha was great to rent from, and was quick to respond whenever a need arose. The home was pretty much found as expected. The main level kitchen and living room were a pleasure to relax in. We all felt like professional cooks in that kitchen! All bedrooms were large and open feeling, although we only were able to occupy four. We could have easily fit another 4 people comfortably. No complaints about the beds, the linens were all clean and comfortable. When we wanted to go about and explore, we found the home in a great proximity to everything. Just down the road in Wilmington, we were able to buy our groceries for the week. We also ate at a few restaurants in town. Nearby Brattleboro and Bennington had great shopping. The West Dummerston Covered Bridge in Brattleboro was fun to see. Honora Winery in Jacksonville was a nice place to visit one rainy day. We also took a drive up to Killington one day to take the gondola to the top of the peak. The views were incredible! One problem we had was cell service. We all had Verizon as our cell phone carrier, and did not get very good service (it was pretty non-existant) in all of southern Vermont, including the house. I think we heard that AT&T works best in that area. The house's internet was also spotty, I found I had the best on the nightstand by the window in the pink bedroom upstairs. Overall, the house was beautiful. I will agree with another commenter however, that it will probably need to be painted soon.
