Great host

Marc was super easy to communicate with. The house was great and the location was amazing. We enjoyed the short drive to the antiques and ice cream stands in wilmington and the beautiful short walk through the woods to lake raponda. Overall great experience!

Tough Mudder Weekend

5 of 5
A group of classmates and I decided to do the Tough Mudder this year. We wanted to find a place that could house all of us, be fairly close to Mt Snow and be reasonably priced. We could not have found a more perfect place to stay the weekend! The cabin was much larger than I expected. There was 8 of us and I was envisioning that things may be a little tight for that many people. I could not have been more wrong. There was more than enough room for that many people, we probably could have fit more people and still been just as comfortable. Everyone's favorite feature of the house was hands down the hot tub! Our bodies were bruised and battered after the race, once we washed all of the mud off of ourselves we hopped into the hot tub and it was amazing! I am convinced that my body would not have recovered as quickly as it did without the aid of the hot tub. I am sure it would be amazing after a day of skiing or hiking. The front porch is huge. It was perfect for us as we were taking turns showering, we hung out on the front porch having a few drinks, listening to music and enjoying the great Vermont weather. It was a feature of the house that we really didn't think we would use but we spent a lot of time out there. When the sun went down and the bugs came out, we retreated to the awesome basement. We spent the night playing pool and board games. It was a lot of fun and a great bonding experience. The basement is so big that if you had more than 9 people staying at the place, you could throw a few air mattresses in the basement and everyone would be competely comfortable. Although if you go this route, I would suggest to give those people lots of blankets, I get the feeling it could get very cold in the basement at night. We all highly recommend this place! First, it's amazing in itself. It has everything you would want and then some. There is a tv there but we only used it for a few minutes to get a weather forcast, so I can't say much about that. Although who wants to watch tv on vacation anyways? Second, the owners seemed like super nice people and were extremely easy to deal with. They said they were going to slowly improve the place, I am not sure how they can improve on perfection but I can't wait to the improvements the next time we rent this place! Thank you for allowing us to rent it!

Great House

5 of 5
Our family rented the house for a week at the end of January. We had 9 people total (3 generations) We loved the house. There was plenty of room for all of us with room left over. The owner is very easy to deal with and very helpful (especially when I accidently left my glasses behind) The grandkids especially loved the sledding hill in the front yard. They also loved hiking in the woods down to the stream The house is in a very quiet location but real close to home and other activities. Since we're from Florida we appreciated the flat driveway in the snow. The fireplace was great. We had a fire every night and Frank had us well supplied with firewood. We have rented many houses and have never had such a well supplied kitchen with plenty of dishes for our whole family. We definitely recommend this house
