The place was a lovely ranch house, comfortably and attractively furnished, and nestled amid tall trees. It was clean, neat and pleasantly warm, and had everything we needed, including a nice wood-burning fireplace. There was a charming Vermont woods theme running through the decor of several rooms. Beds were excellent and, along with the fresh mountain air, brought a good night's sleep. There was an inviting hot tub in the basement (which is at ground level in that part of the house) but we did not have time to use it. Parking was easy, and the house location was straightforward, following the directions. It's just up a long winding hill from the main road (rte. 100), so it's convenient while being very private and quiet.
