Great stay near Mt Snow

4 of 5
Our group had a great stay at Ted & Betsy's property. The house was conveniently near Mt Snow and right off Rt 100 but still felt very private. It was very clean, comfortable and well equipped with the amenities you'd need and expect. Sleeps many without feeling cramped too. You can tell the house is still a work in progress as some things, like the wall behind the basement bar, have not been finished but still is completely usable. Would make for a great rental any time of year, especially with the pond at the bottom of the hill and the fire pit off the deck.

Delightful!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this log cabin. Our family and our good friends stayed here during the Mid-Winter school vacation. This was my first time in Vermont and it was particularly freezing that week, so dangerously cold that Mt. Snow shut down the lifts for a morning. That didn't keep us from having a fabulous time. The cabin made our stay wonderful...we made a roaring fire in the beautiful stone fireplace, baked cookies in the clean, fully stocked kitchen, and our young kids (8 year olds and a 5 year old) loved the loft where they could have their own special hang-out area. The cabin has big windows and it is filled with light. My favorite memory is having coffee sitting by the big kitchen table window, watching snow fall gently into the forest out back, which was already blanketed in snow. I agree with the other raters that the pictures on this site do not do the place justice and that John and Betty Ann were great -- extremely responsive. We hope to come back!

We loved it!

5 of 5
We had a great stay at the Windy Bear Lodge. I went with a group of my friends for a ski weekend at Mt. Snow. The house is very spacious but at the same times feels warm and cozy. It had everything we needed and more from kitchen supplies to extra pillows and blankets - not to mention the fun games in the basement!! It truly is very close to mt snow - only took us about 10 minutes. There really was nothing more that we could have wanted from this rental. If anything it exceeded our expectations. Great shape and lovely home. Highly recommend.
