              BEAUTIFUL GETAWAY IN GREEN MTNS

              5 of 5
This review is VERY delinquent (sorry Terri). My wife and I live in the area but had a number of family and friends visiting from out-of-state for the weekend at the end of September last year. Our house is small and we wanted to get away a little bit. This home was PERFECT. Lots of room for a number of people whether adult or children though this was an adults getaway with both couples and singles to celebrate my wife's birthday. Large kitchen and dining room table with sit around island for all who were there. The large open living room area was great for sitting around and chatting on a chilly night. The wrap around porch was wonderful for hanging out and having a beverage. We had an evening campfire outside which was lovely. The nearby babbling brook is a great place to sit at while drinking coffee and reading a book or newspaper in the morning. Walking through the woods was also really nice. The house has a separate kitchen and sitting area in the basement that can be used as a place to hang out without disturbing any of the other house guests if you'd like. We went to Mad River Glen where they were having a beer festival and single chair lift rides to see the fall foliage from up high. MRG is less than a mile away (not walkable though) so is very convenient whether you are looking to hike, ski, or whatever. Terri was so accommodating of our needs and since we are locals was able to give us a tour in advance of our stay. I highly recommend this home for your vacation needs or if you just want to escape to the mountain woods of Vermont for a long weekend with family and/or friends. You will not be disappointed. It's a beautiful home with plenty of space for all. It's obvious that this home is loved by the owners.

AMAZING HOUSE VERY CLOSE TO THE MOUNTAIN

              5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay at your house at Sugarbush! The house is literally down the street from the mountain. There is plenty of room in the house - one "master" suite downstairs and 2 large bedrooms, each with a double/queen bed AND a set of bunk beds. There were 3 couples and a toddler and there was plenty of room. The first floor is open so that folks can be cooking/eating/relaxing and all feel together. We were so pleased to find such a wonderful house and hope to stay for more than just a weekend next year!

              BEST NYE EVER.

The archie bunker is more than you could ask for. The unique concrete architecture seems like it might be too cold and sterile for a ski getaway but think again. The floors are heated, the wood stove is up and the fireplace is raging. Hanging out in front of the fire playing a game of jenga with various shaped rocks, curling on the frozen pond outfront, cross country skiing 5 minutes away, and did i mention you're right next to sugarbush? yeah. and best part of all, if you want none of those things, just wander around the house and you will be entertained for days. We loved our stay here and cant wait to go back. PS: Anna is INCREDIBLY helpful and wonderful to coordinate with.
