This place is a score. If you are lucky enough to stumble across this rental then you are in for a real treat. We stayed here during during Thanksgiving/Winter Storm Cato and were lucky enough to enjoy 14 inches of fresh snow. The property is prepared for just about any kind of scenario and Mike is too. Mike was attentive and willing to help when needed but never overbearing. Super kid and pet friendly with plenty of room to bound. The pictures do not really do it any justice and the amenities are all that you would want. Washer and dryer are a bonus and the water is HOT! The tap water is also very delicious. Plenty of room for gear and luggage. Sleeping accommodations are very comfortable. Easy and beautiful drive to Stratton Mountain Resort and an even easier drive to Brattleboro, VT. The roads are well taken care of and were never an issue getting out to enjoy the powder. However, in our opinion, we would recommend having a 4WD (and we did) but it not absolutely necessary. The carport was also a huge bonus as it was nice not to have to dig out and clean the car off. We suggest that you bring your groceries with you if you are accustomed to a certain diet or organic food. Groceries are there but do not have the best of selections. Bring a robe because the walk to the hot tub can be pretty brisk if you forget one! Make sure to shower off to get rid perfumes, lotions and shampoos before entering hot tub and do not dunk your head in the water. This will make the hot tub stinky and there is no avoiding it! Again, this place is a treat and we were lucky enough to stumble across it. Thanks again Mike!!

Stayed for a couple nights, lucked into a cancellation, the hosts are truly lovely, the cottage was very nice, clean, quiet. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the Honeymoon Cottage. The owners have gone to great lengths to make sure the house is stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. It was clean and very tastefully decorated with an antique feel. The decorations were absolutely charming and the "hearthy" feel was exactly the type of vibe we were looking for. Nothing could have been more perfect than the two fireplaces and the jacuzzi at the end of a long day of skiing. It meant so much that the owners called the check in the first night we were there. Thank you again, and we will definitely rent from these owners in the future.
