Beautiful Setting

4 of 5
The setting couldn't be more lovely, the location is convenient to Manchester Center (a great town) and Hildene (the home of Robert Todd Lincoln), and the house was quite clean. Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of the washer/dryer due to a significant (short term, we were told) problem with rust.

Perfect, Beautiful, & Unforgettable Service

5 of 5
Thanks to Glenn and Kay, we had a perfect surprise engagement weekend! The inn itself is superb - gorgeous views, clean and well decorated, off the beaten path just the right amount, but still close to great hiking, charming restaurants, and scenic driving. The apartment we stayed in was nicer than our own home! My fiance told Glenn and Kay he was planning to propose, and they cooked an amazing homemade dinner using all of my favorite foods, and set the whole thing up at a private table overlooking the mountains. Just as the big moment was happening, Kay came out with her professional-grade camera and snapped pictures of DJ on one knee that we will cherish forever. They even framed the menu from the evening and displayed it in our room for us to take home. Breakfast every morning was also fantastic. Cocktails and appetizers on the lawn in the evening offered interesting conversation and a warm, relaxing environment. Glenn and Kay were filled with great suggestions for activities and sites, and offered to stock the fridge in our room with anything we wanted. This was, without question, among the best vacation experiences of our lives, and we have done a lot of traveling. Glenn and Kay really go out of their way to make a unique and unforgettable experience, and the location and inn itself are just too good to be true. We can't wait to return!

Cozy, Charming, Comfortable Home Away from Home

5 of 5
We spent five summer weeks this year (2013) and four weeks in '12 at this house on the property of the Wilburton Inn. We keep coming back for a number of reasons: The house is so comfortable as to provide a real "home away from home". The location is fantastic, just minutes away from all Manchester and Dorset have to offer. And most of all the Levis family's warm hospitality and attentiveness make this house rental a very special treat! The Wilburton has larger homes and lovely rooms at the Inn, as well as this specific house.
