Cozy winter space

5 of 5
An unusually early snowstorm prompted us to phone ahead to make sure the property was to be plowed throughout and would be accessible. We found this home to be perfect for the two couples and 20-something, who stayed in his own space in the lower level. Very private. 2nd bath. The beds were most comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for serious cooks. We appreciated the upstairs woodstove but quickly decided not to use the ll wood stove as it did not draw well. The venting is tough. I can't fail to mention the wonderful view and the easy walking access to River Road.

GREAT rental!

5 of 5
My boyfriend and I come up to Manchester every year to do some fly fishing, reading, and relaxing, with our little pug. This was the first time we used homeaway.com to find a rental, and the pictures did not do this condo justice. It rained for most of the weekend, and we hunkered down next to the fire, worked on the wifi when we needed to, and cooked some really great feasts in the large kitchen and were able to eat at the table together (a luxury coming from Manhattan!) The location was right in town (I walked into town a couple of days), and the property was very clean and well-maintained. The owner was accessible virtually on-call when I had questions about the wifi and location of the house. Another plus is the neighbors that live nearby. We met a few of them while walking our dog, and all were very friendly. It was nice and quiet at night, so you felt secluded from the tourism of Manchester in the fall, but still part of a little community. This was really the perfect place to stay. We will definitely stay at this place again on one of our next visits. Thank you!
