Great House- Great Weekend

5 of 5
Just returned from our stay at the Lake House, and it could not have been better. The house is amazing and the views from the kitchen are incredible. The location is great and and was perfect for our week of hitting the slopes. Paul is great with communication and really has the house setup for you when you arrive. When we left I was thinking, maybe I won't write a review so that the secret of this great house doesn't get out and we can book it again next year!! Overall a great experience. We already cannot wait to come back! Thanks again Paul!

Come as a guest, leave as a friend.

We've rented a few houses in the last 3 years all over the world and always had a good experience but we never felt as home as in this house. It is very cozy and comfortable. All 3 levels overlook the lake from the top of the hill. The house kept us warm and safe in -20F weather. The kitchen is well stocked (really well), the living room has books to read, some music to listen, and even a few table-top games to keep your family entertained in cold winter evenings near a fireplace. The hosts are really going far and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. The driveway is always plowed, Jeff allowed us to check out 1 hour late and gave us detailed information about what to do around. One thing to keep in mind that the internet is not the fastest and the electronics (TV, Stereo ) are not the latest. You may not be able to plugin your HDMI device or MP3 player, there is however a DVD and CD player but honestly who cares about all these in Vermont. It's such a beautiful place it would be a waste to stare at a TV. I really wish we would live a little closer to come here more often.

Beautiful location

We stayed at the property in May of 2013 (the calendar doesn't go back far enough for me to choose it). The house is beautiful as is the view. The photos provided give a very accurate impression of the property. The recently remodeled kitchen is a great ammenity and it is well stocked with cooking implements.
