Great

5 of 5
We had a group of six adults and two dogs stay in the Log Cabin for a ski weekend at Stowe in February. First of all - the house has beautiful views of the mountains and is in a very open area with no close neighbors. The dogs had plenty of room to play in the snow without bothering any neighbors. The house very comfortable fit three couples with easily room for one more. Our first night in, we ventured into Stowe Village for dinner, and the second night enjoyed a fire and some take-out pizza. The house is about 20 minutes from the parking lot at Stowe Mountain and was a great base for us for the weekend. It was very well maintained and left little to be desired. We even were able to get some extra fire wood from the property manager while we were there. We definitely plan on using the house if we are ever lucky enough to make it back for another ski weekend!

Come as a guest, leave as a friend.

We've rented a few houses in the last 3 years all over the world and always had a good experience but we never felt as home as in this house. It is very cozy and comfortable. All 3 levels overlook the lake from the top of the hill. The house kept us warm and safe in -20F weather. The kitchen is well stocked (really well), the living room has books to read, some music to listen, and even a few table-top games to keep your family entertained in cold winter evenings near a fireplace. The hosts are really going far and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. The driveway is always plowed, Jeff allowed us to check out 1 hour late and gave us detailed information about what to do around. One thing to keep in mind that the internet is not the fastest and the electronics (TV, Stereo ) are not the latest. You may not be able to plugin your HDMI device or MP3 player, there is however a DVD and CD player but honestly who cares about all these in Vermont. It's such a beautiful place it would be a waste to stare at a TV. I really wish we would live a little closer to come here more often.

A Magical Place to Stay

5 of 5
This property is truly magical. You feel like you are sleeping in the treetops, as the house is nestled so perfectly into the beautiful Vermont woods. It's immaculate, spacious, and well-kept, perfect for people who love to be both indoors and out. The kitchen is fabulous and the guest rooms are lovely, each with its own individual charm. In the morning, you can walk down the hill for gourmet coffee and baked goods, and there are restaurants and things to do everywhere you turn. An absolutely a one of a kind place to stay!
