Bennington house in winter wonderland

5 of 5
I recently stayed at the pleasant valley home with 2 other couples. The house is beautiful with views and scenery like no other. The access to the 30+ acres of hills and open land was great! Abundance of firewood was exactly what we needed on this cold weekend, and the fireplace kept the living room cozy and warm! Little town of bennington was great, especially if you enjoy the antique hunt. Grocery, restaurant, and shops 15 minute drive. Close to ny border and towns as well. Overall great experience and weekend!

The relaxation you're looking for!

5 of 5
This is an amazing place to stay. The owners are really in touch with what guests need (and may forget to bring), it's rustic, and perfectly relaxing. The wood stove, a good book, and some coffee, and I was in heaven! Can't wait to go back.

Room for One and All

5 of 5
Our college reunion group of eight experienced a fabulous stay at Elysian Fields. Each woman had her own beautifully decorated bedroom with t.v., good lighting for reading, and a full bath. Common areas were cozy and spacious, clean and chock full of amenities, such as t.v. plus catalog of dvds and videos, a fully-stocked kitchen, and indoor pool with jaccuzzi. The owners responded with care and were quite helpful, even leaving us a jar of honey produced in hives surrounding the house. Activities in the area kept us busy -- even a monastery with The Best Cheesecake!! The house is eclectic and kitschy, cozy and warm, and perfect for a family reunion, ski trip, or any occasion. We all think very fondly on our time at Elysian Fields and would recommend to anyone.
