COMFORTABLE, RELAXING, CLEAN

5 of 5
This is a very well maintained, very clean house that served as a comfortable launching pad for my wife and our two young children. We especially enjoyed the sun room off the kitchen, where we could all sprawl out and read under the ceiling fan after days of hiking and biking. Here are some features that pleasantly surprised us: the Bose surround sound system in the entertainment room, along with the 100+ DVDs, and dozen board games; the large jacuzzi tub; the wonderfully comfortable mattresses; a charming little park less than ten minutes' walk away that has a pond, a playground and many butterflies; the many, many children's toys and games. The style here is decidedly comfortable -- you can literally kick your feet up on the deck and listen to the stream going by (you could do this in the hammock as well, for that matter). We decided to stay one more night and found the owner quite responsive and helpful.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

5 of 5
I have stayed at this property in both the summer and winter. Both were equally wonderful. All the modern amenities you have at your own home and so much space to spread out. It's a great mountain property with lots of privacy. Close to the mountains and shopping. I hope to be able to stay here again.

FOUR SEASONS OF FUN

5 of 5
We've stayed at Spring Hill with a group of friends and our dogs over several Xmas-New Year's weeks. It's a wonderful place for a winter get-away: downhill skiing right around the corner at Stratton and Bromley, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing right out the door, as well as at several excellent cross-country skiing centers and on the catamount and other trails in the area. It's just a short hop to Manchester if you like to shop, and lots of great, small farmstands for local cheeses and other lovely items (we are HUGE fans of Taylor Farms). Lots of room for folks to spread out, and the property is very private (the house is well back from the road, with a brook between the property and the road - very nice for keeping the dogs contained!) Great place to stay in the Summer and Fall, too.
