Beautiful Spot to Get Away From It All!!!!!!

5 of 5
We are seasoned Home Away travelers and we LOVED this booking! We spent four days just after Thanksgiving, and could not have asked for a better experience. Turned the phones off, unplugged from the world, and curled up with books, dvds, and the woodstove. This home is charming and rustic, but also wonderfully functional. Modern heat and hot water, comfortable beds, cozy couches, chairs, and blankets galore. Varied and interesting books and games throughout the home, an excellent radio/cd system, and we raided our local library for DVDs to bring with us. There were beautiful views from every window, and we really enjoyed our daily walks. Town is close by, and one day we took off for a scenic drive, helped along by the maps the owner thoughtfully provided. Along with the maps, we arrived to find the kindest welcome package, including a great newsletter with instructions, suggestions, and helpful hints, and local maple syrup to sweeten the trip. The owner, Rhoda, was an absolute pleasure to deal with, and was available when we had questions, but not intrusive in any way. If being off the grid and surrounded with rustic simplicity is what you're looking for, you cannot do better than this!

Beautiful location convenient for VT adventures

4 of 5
My group of 11 enjoyed themselves at this relaxing property. In the summer there are a variety of great outdoor activities nearby and the property itself has great space for outdoor fun and games. The house had plenty of rustic charm and ample cooking space for our larger group.

A beautiful old farmhouse with tons of character.

5 of 5
It was a beautiful old farmhouse with tons of character. The bucolic views out the back are a joy to the eyes. There was eight of us and we enjoyed the house very much. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The house was clean and well maintained. The location was perfect for our ski vacation. An easy drive to Killington or Sugarbush allowed us to choose between the two. I would recommend this place.
