Beautiful rustic home on mountain, off grid

5 of 5
Wonderful quiet place to stay and get back to yourself, enjoy your spouse, family, friend. 1820s house is clean and comfy but rustic. We slept like babies. Quality cookware and dishes. The owner, Rhoda couldn't do enough for us, including a chess set when we thought it might be too rainy and plenty of wood for the fireplace. Beautiful pastoral area, with wonderful walks. Even the views from the house are inspiring. Rochester is a great town with some artsy shops and an art gallery. We had an amazing and relaxing mini-vacation here.

Beautiful location convenient for VT adventures

4 of 5
My group of 11 enjoyed themselves at this relaxing property. In the summer there are a variety of great outdoor activities nearby and the property itself has great space for outdoor fun and games. The house had plenty of rustic charm and ample cooking space for our larger group.

A beautiful old farmhouse with tons of character.

5 of 5
It was a beautiful old farmhouse with tons of character. The bucolic views out the back are a joy to the eyes. There was eight of us and we enjoyed the house very much. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The house was clean and well maintained. The location was perfect for our ski vacation. An easy drive to Killington or Sugarbush allowed us to choose between the two. I would recommend this place.
