Great chalet for summer biking at Kingdom!!

              5 of 5
We stayed there over the canadian august long weekend. The chalet is located directly behind the wall ride on the downhill bike trail Knight Slayer. You can walk down to the lodge to hit up the Tamarack for dinner, or start your day by riding burnham down to the village. The place itself is beautiful, we were 3 couples, and 5 individuals (all adults) and had plenty of room, Beds were located in 4 different rooms, plus a pull out sofa in the basement. Great fire pit, a huge garage for storing bikes, a great kitchen and eating area, big deck, dishwasher, laundry, etc etc. We will definitely be renting this place again next year. Thanks!

              Loved it!

This was our first trip to Stowe and our first experience doing a rental with HomeAway. Description of location and layout was great-only complaint here was the sign is kinda small with the overgrowth-easier to spot coming from the south than the north. Well equiped as described. Property was clean and well maintained, more instructions as to the workings of the house would have been helpful-had to call 911 after the house filled with smoke when we built a fire and the flu wasn't open as we thought. There is no local or network TV although there is a satillite.Property not handicap accessible, no wheelchair ramps, no .handrails to deck and the inside stairway is open on one side. The views are beautiful and location is easy commute all over Vermont. We went the week before Columbus weekend, 2009. The trees were beautiful even though we had overcast skies. There was fog over the mountains, but the sun came out when we reached the top of the mountain on the gondola.Stowe Lantern tour was fun but would recommend going the begining of your stay as we learned interesting facts that we would have liked to explore. Owner was great to work with-would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again sometime.

              The Vermont experience

              5 of 5
If you are looking for the Vermont experience then you will want to rent Cug's place. Its in a beatiful area and has all the creature comforts you look for while on vacation. From the hot tub to the ball pit there is something for everyone in the family including a very nice kitchen. The bedrooms are spread apart so you won't hear aunt bessie snoring. The 14 of us all had a great time. Some of us even went to the ice cream social in a small church 2 munutes away and were warmly welcomed. We look forward to next year.
