Amazing Place to Relax

5 of 5
We have been staying at this home for the last 7 years and have found the home warm, comfortable and very well stocked. You come into the home with only your belongings without having to cart towels and sheets. Great place to relax after a long day skiing, with the fireplace and the hot tub. The gourmet kitchen is wonderfully stocked with everything needed to make a meal after a long day of skiing. Restaurants close by if that is what you want, try the Sugar and Spice good for breakfast and lunch or Olympic Pizza for lunch or dinner. You have the Norman Rockwell museum just down the street for something else to see. Many little gift shops located near by. Markets and shopping within 20 minute drive.

Amazing House

5 of 5
My group stayed at this lovely home for the 4th of July weekend and could not have been more impressed. The renovation and decoration really have to be seen to be believed! Surprisingly, the beautiful pictures do not do the house justice. The deck is much larger than it appears, and we spent almost all of our time during the day there. It is the softest wood I've ever walked on, so flip flops or shoes are not required. With the large table outside (seats at least 8) you can eat every meal outside, and there is also a round table, and a coffee table out there. The dock house is simply amazing. It is beautifully decorated, and a great place to lounge at night, or during the day. We watched the sun set from inside the dock house and with the breeze you'd think you were at the beach. Simply gorgeous at night! The house is also fully stocked with all the toys you could want (kayak, goggles/masks, fishing rods, pool noodles, floats, etc.) We fished in the morning right off the dock and had a blast catching little perch and such. The dock is also fantastic for swimming. The water laps up on it just a few inches, so you can get right into the water. The floating dock is fun to lie out on, but I'd highly recommend taking the kayak across the lake to the NY side. There are no houses over there and the paddle is very manageable. The inside of the house is also very comfortable and well-equipped. Full gourmet kitchen with huge sub-zero fridge and freezer, full gas range, oven, all the cooking utensils you could ever need, and enough space to be in there with several others. The kitchen was beautifully re-done! The bedrooms are also great. The "master" faces out on to the lake, and although we had too much fun to watch much, it has a tv with cable. The master has a jack-and-jill bathroom connecting to the bunk room, which could surely fit 4 adults if necessary. The other queen bedroom is also a great size. The couch in the living room is also the most comfortable thing you've ever sat on. We all took turns taking naps out there! Overall, the house is just perfect. It is quiet, peaceful, fully up to date, and the best lake house I've seen. The owners are also fantastic. They are very helpful and the house delivered much more than promised. I couldn't recommend it more.

Beautiful location. Loved the house.

We were so happy to find this beautiful home on the lakefront was just as promised, and the owners were great to interact with. The property was clean and well-maintained. Definitely recommend. Would be ideal for two families -- already planning to return with my brother and family sometime to share the house and the area with them.
