Exception lakefront home with just the right amoun

            5 of 5
We are a family of five with three young children (13months -5years) with a lab puppy. Irene was amazing; she provided just the right amount of personal touch with a house warming basket (wine fruit and cheese local to VT) Loved it!!! Followed by a personal visit to ensure we were all set. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed and more. The views, the lake and the outdoor patio cannot be beat! The kids and I loved taking the paddle boat out in the evenings to view the sunsets and have a last min. swim. This is the place if you really want to enjoy your family or love in a private quiet and beautiful setting. The house the location cannot be beat in the middle of it all while being away from it all. The host and the love is what makes us want to return next year. A BIG thank you to you Irene, keep up the wonderful hospitality and you will have a house bustling with happy souls. Comfortable stay-great location

            5 of 5
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights. Jen, the owner, was so easy to deal with, the communication was excellent. The condo itself was cozy, comfortable, and very clean. It is in a great location, close to everything! It was just perfect for us. It was truly a home away from home. With the condo being such an affordable option, we won't even consider staying elsewhere next time. We highly suggest a stay here if you will be in the area. We will certainly return again!

            Awesome Vacation Getaway!

            5 of 5
Upon arrival we found that everything was accurate as far as descriptions and views. The place was clean and everything they listed as far as amenities goes, was there. Don't worry about bringing dishes/pans etc it was all there and then some. Even though there were plenty of people in the other condos, the place was peaceful, no noise, just frogs, birds, a heron and loons. Everything was comfortable and like home. Docking for our boat was near, and the launch was only two streets down making it easy to drop off/pick up! Defintely the place to go if you have a boat. I cannot say enough about the lake, it is just huge and the views are wonderful. While on the lake you can dock at Eastside restaurant and grab a bite to eat. US Customs and the harbor are not far. The pool was clean and heated. The owner was great, answered all my questions, gave me directions to the place as well as the boat launch. My security deposit was returned within days of leaving. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We fell in love with it right away. Although peaceful and secluded you are close to town. Eastside restaurant had a great breakfast buffet on Sunday for only 10.95. Eat there for breakfast! Dinners were good, a little pricey and I don't recommend the fried seafood (except clams) especially if you are used to eating what we do. You also have to try out Hoagie's Pizza. The best around! There was plenty to do being the week of July 4th and the aquafest. You also have to visit the pick and shovel, They sell just about everything and the ice cream stand right there is cheap and great ice cream. When you order a large ice cream be prepared, they are huge. We also took a ride into Canada (Maggog) while there. Lots of stuff to do in town and everyone we spoke to was bi-lingual. Make sure you have your passports! Some people don't realize you need one now to cross the border. According to US Customs manual if you don't get out of the boat and go into port you technically don't have to stop at customs in the US but it is highly recommended that you do. I would definitely go back to this place.
