Nice stop on a weekend stay over from northern vermont to lower new England. A lot of time and care went into this cabin and accommodation to make it a nice stay and for you to feel comfortable. Everything was new, worked, and incredibly clean—crisp sheets, nice pillows, small blankets for cool evening, nice appliances, Keuring for coffee. The location was ideal to enjoy the outdoors, golfing, local history, and resort town of Manchester without the high price. The unit is compact, so plan accordingly. Two of three beds in a loft with ladder and bathroom on the ground floor - need to be able to climb (and in the middle of the night). Everything tastefully done. The cabin and accommodation was true to the listing and could have enjoyed an outside fire and BBQ.
The owner was friendly and provided a brief tour of the property - easy to find the unit with the address.
Completely enjoyed golfing at the Equinox (went after 4 and got a great rate) and St. Catharines Golf and Country Club. Had a very tasting meal at Bistro Henry - wonderful service. Even bowled in Rutland at Bowlerama. Loved driving the countryside - visited Hubbardton Battlefield and would have traveled to Fort Ticonderoga if earlier in the day. Missed close by hiking - next time!
Would buy groceries on the way in Manchester or Rutland if you were going to stay awhile (nothing really close).
