Cozy and charming house on the lake

5 of 5
We were 9 people staying there, and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and in excellent condition. Specially the main floor, that has a warm living and dinning room, a fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities you may need, a TV room, and a huge covered gallery facing the lake. We enjoyed every detail in this house that has been decorated with special taste. We couldn't enjoy many things being there in winter, but there's a private beach, there are kayaks and bikes. I can't say anything wrong about the place. The only thing was that the heating does not heat all the rooms equally, so after the first night, we realized that some were warmers than others. We had to adjust using the blankets. That's all. I recommend this house to everyone that looks for a family or friends holiday time. I'll definitively go back.

Great location, price for Okemo ski house

4 of 5
This is a charming older house that is close to Okemo (about 12 minutes). If you are looking for high end amenities this is not your place. But if you are looking for a good house for 1-2 families to share while skiing and not break the bank, it is perfect. We stayed 4 nights and loved it. We skied, visited Long Trail brewery and the Vermont Country Store, played board games and did puzzles. The general store has great sandwiches, beer, and some groceries.

GREAT COUNTRY SETTING

5 of 5
The Caleb Atwell House is a wonderful retreat from the busy world. It is complete with natural beauty, a private pond and expansive lawns, all supported by views of the wild unspoiled hills and mountains of Vermont. This lovely rural home is clean and well maintained. The beautiful antique wide floor boards, beamed ceilings and wonderful decor create a home with lots of character. All beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked with any utensils, place settings, pots or pans you would ever need to prepare a meal. Off the beaten path yet very accessible, the home has nearby hiking and scenery to gaze at. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing here We definitely look to return to this house again when we visit Vermont!
