Great Spot. Very Chill.

5 of 5
A superb spot between Cambridge/Jeffersonville and Smuggler's Notch. When we were there there had been some wet snows and big hunks of snow hung in the pines up and down the hills around Ellen's house. It was "warm" that weekend, tipping out around 33 degrees or so. The overall feeling was giddy, and one could see locals out and about seeming quite enthused to go about sporting in the "heat wave." With this weather and scene setting up our weekend it was destined to be awesome, but staying at the Pondhouse raised the awesome up to a "way awesome" or even a "super awesome." Ellen is very chill and hooked us up with everything we needed. He her garage loft, the Pondhouse, and a perfect spot, with HUGE windows overlooking the valley and mountains. Ellen also told us about the weekend "Winterfest" which included music, dancing, bonfires, "glowing" hot air balloons, and fireworks. Basically couldn't have been better. We'll probably come back to this region i hope!
