A quiet and relaxing vaccation

5 of 5
My family and I had great relaxing time. Plenty for all to do. Hiking biking and fishing are just a few if the great things to do. The house was just as we expected. Very quiet and peaceful. First night there was very cold so we got a chance to have a fire. Plenty if wood supplied. We had rain one day but that was ok because we went a half hour south to Massachusetts where it was not raining and visited many water falls. That was another great reason this rental was perfect. You are not too far to visit many other sights. We did find that most restaurants were very expensive. Mount snow was the worst place to eat. There small deli cost us $28 for 2 sandwiches and soda. It was the most expensive grilled chz I ever had. Lol We did eat in a lot. Local store had great deals and the kitchen and grill was perfect for family meals. If you want the best burger around you need to try the bowling alley. Funny but true. We did take our two pups with us. They had just as much fun. They found the nice stream that runs down the in the back if the house. They spent many of time playing there. The deck was a nice touch to sit and relax. The humming bird feeder was great to watch. There were 3 that faught for it all day. The trip was very nice and we plan on doing it again. Next time we want snow! Thank you again Bert for being so kind and sending us brochures for things to do in the area. You will hear from us again. Tara and Shawn Danner

Great Comfortable Large Home-Wonderful Stay

5 of 5
Our group of 18 had a wonderful experience. The house had 8 spacious bedrooms & 6 bathrooms and all was extremely clean- very important to us being clean. There was a beautiful full size Pool Table &rec room-the guys used. Killington Road was a 30 yd. walk & up the road was the 3 main mountains of Killington. We had views of Killington while playing pool. There was plenty of sites to visit and a short walk to local bus transportation--some of us didn't want to drive. It was very convenient to the shops, restaurants Woodstock, Quiche, and Rutland. The owner Noreen was always available for help, information and discounts on activities. We highly recommend to all and will be back next year.

Great vacation

5 of 5
We found the house very well equipped for a relaxing vacation. Everything was very clean and comfortable, all small details taken into consideration. Kitchen has everything needed for cooking even elaborate meals. Beds are very comfortable. The floor plan of the house works well for several families, as it provides full privacy. The deck is wonderful for having family meals, and is equipped with high-end grill. It's not recommended to let small kids run around on it though, as it is not child proof. The wireless internet, high end TVs, and blue rays are a very nice touches. What impressed me most that every single room has it's own thermostat! Not that we needed heat in August, but it would be very convenient in the winter! We also enjoyed using the club house, which has indoor and outdoor heated pools, billiard room, kids room with many toys and games, and even a piano. It also has gas and charcoal grills for everybody to use. There are many recreational attractions in the area, including fishing, hiking, boating, petting zoos, etc. Town of Bennington only 30 min from the property provides some historical attractions and good museums. The owner, Irene, is very easy going and easy to deal with. Everything was very well organized and coordinated. The instructions in the welcome doc had a lot of useful details, and even recommendations for the local restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this property and would like to come back next year. It's recommended to have a 4 wheel drive if coming in winter time.
