Fantastic vacation!

5 of 5
This was a perfect getaway cottage. It was pretty much exactly as described, and beautifully appointed. It was the perfect location from which to do the horse show and all the local amenities (I did the outlets one too many times though!) the hosts are lovely--we only saw them at check in, but that was our choice. They were available if we needed them, but we didn't. I would highly recommend this cottage (we were 3 people because my husband couldn't come, but with him and one more the cottage can sleep 5 comfortably!

Beautiful views in the Green Mountains

5 of 5
* Great Views! From the big open kitchen and living area, you can see out across a broad valley to some beautiful hills. We were there in the summer but would be great in leaf season as well. * Convenient to Woodstock. Short drive to the town, national park, national forest and other state parks and skiing. * Great family destination. Barn is pretty close to the owner's house (prob 25 yards) so you can take advantage of their amenities like a zipline and tree house (great for kids). There is a fun kids room with lots of books. Highly recommended!

Wow!

5 of 5
We stayed in the barn house for a week last month while Pat and Gabe were visiting their new granddaughter. You might say we were the beta testers! The place is just awesome and I'm not saying that because we got a special deal. The decor, the mountain views, the hot tub right outside the door are all awesome. But that's not to overlook the amazing kitchen which is where we spent most of our time. Some areas were out of bounds due to construction, but that's done as far as I know. The location is convenient (NY, MA, VT) to so much, but if you're just looking for a place to chill, I can't recommend a better place.
