BEST PLACE EVER!

5 of 5
Coming to Dmitry' s Estate we did not know what to expect from Vermont's November weather. But weather was great and the house and its warmth exceeded all of our expectations. The fireplace and wood burning stove with endless supply of firewood was a perfect gathering for us before we went out to miles of private trails hiking and after we returned. Sauna made us feel as if we are in a private Spa, with games, pool, and drinks in the Game house after. We definitely coming back in several weeks as the weather gets a little colder and we hit the slopes that are close by. Dmitry is one of the best hosts we dealt with, very accommodating and always replies within several short minutes.

This is the spot for a great family vacation

5 of 5
When my husband and I were looking for a relaxing, fun vacation with our two young kids (4 and 1.5) we had our share of challenges. But when we came across this house, it was the perfect solution. A great location, near fun activities in Waterbury (cider house, cheese shop, ben and jerry's), amazing dinner at Hen of the Woods as well as close to Stowe and other places with some phenomenal hiking. The best part of this house is the convenience especially with young kids! A crib, a toy room, bunk beds, tree house, hot tub, pool. Fun for adults and kids so you can be active all day and then kick back at night in the house and have tons of fun! My kids loved the new toys and the toy cars in the garage which they ran up and down the driveway for hours, while I got to look at one of the most stunning views. The house is stocked with anything you need for good cooking and grocery store close by. We will likely come back next year and can't wait!

THE BEST PLACE IN NEW ENGLAND!

5 of 5
Wow! Where do I even start? Usually when looking for a vacation rental, I have a bunch of houses I go back and forth looking at, trying to decide what works, what doesn't, and then finally deciding on the best of the bunch... in this case, it was the first house I saw, the first reviews I read and that was it, locked in my dates within an hour of inquiring and it was a done deal and boy, was it ever! I have NEVER had a better vacation than the one I just had at this rental. All of the reviews on this property and the owners were spot on, accurate and truthful, without a doubt! And what can I possibly add that hasn't already been said by everyone else reviewing this property? As an entrepreneur who works from home, who is "plugged in" ALWAYS, who is 24/7 with her clients, this was the FIRST time in more years than I can remember that I actually "unplugged" for the entire week and didn't feel guilty because what I felt the entire week was that I was FINALLY getting a chance to feel normal again, to feel like it was okay to have a vacation and to thoroughly enjoy myself, geez, what a concept, and yet, for workaholics like myself, vacation is like a curse and yet... in this place and with Kristi and Ed, I wanted to just stay and never leave... I did things this past week that I haven't allowed myself to do in years... hiking at Mt. Pisgau, antiquing throughout the Northeast Kingdom, eating at the Parker Pie Company and having my first beer since high school, walking the long AND short roads, having nightly wine tasting in the cottage, watching the loons learning how to fly on the pond, canoeing at sunrise, watching the mist rise above the water, reading a book for the first time in forever on the porch overlooking the pond, watching Sunday, Monday and Thursday night football, a guilty pleasure I never allow myself, making dinner each night as the sun went down... the list just goes on and on and on of things I haven't done in years and it's all because Kristi and Ed set the tone from the moment we arrived at the cottage to the moment we left this morning and said goodbye to them... it was like saying goodbye to old friends even though we had just met them a week before. When do you EVER have an experience like that and yet, that is the exact experience we had this week. You want to talk about a five-star experience, the kind that people travel all over the world to have? Well, you don't have to travel any further than this place.
