Quiet get-a-way

5 of 5
Not sure what Todd is talking about. He must have the wrong house! There was absolutely no odor, the garbage was in tact, grass trimmed, and all pool cues were in perfect condition. I took my 5 year-old son there for 3 nights, to get away from bustling NYC. He absolutely loved his time there, as did I. We spent hours in the newly renovated game room, where he played atop the huge convertible game table - for table tennis and billiards. I cooked nightly in the stocked kitchen that houses a spacious island and large kitchen table. The bedrooms were large, offered multiple sleeping arrangements, clean, and comfortable. We had the master bedroom with the adjoining bathroom - he enjoyed bubble baths in the sunken tub. The chalet is carefully nestled in between beautiful woods; hummingbirds and chipmunk nibbling on the feeder make for great nature watching; and we were only minutes away from the quaint, nostalgic town and lake. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for peace, quiet, space, and a home away from home!

Great house

5 of 5
Our stay at Sugarbush was fantastic in part because this is a great house that has many updates including new deck, carpeting thru out and remodeled bathrooms. The entire property was very clean and everything was provided but towels. There is lots of room for parking 4 cars anyway. Summer in Warren is beautiful and we can't wait to use it again in the winter months.

Great place to stay

5 of 5
I came up for a sking trip with 5 guys total. The first day was too cold to ski (-25 windchill) but there was plenty of space to lounge around and hangout. The kitchen is great and has everything you need to cook. The second day's weather cooperated and we were at the mountain in 5 minutes (literally). After a great day of skiing we came back to the house and were able to get showered up quickly thanks to the two full baths. The views are great, the space is laid out well with plenty of sleeping space. I think the only negative thing we found was that the pullout bed was very uncomfortable but that's almost to be expected. Everything that you need is provided, paper towels, toilet paper, towels, linens, COFFEE POT!!!. This is a great place to stay if you have a large group. I would highly recommend it and am looking forward to planning another trip up to Jay to ski and stay at the Shangri-la house
