Best vacation house

5 of 5
The house is really big, clean and cozy. We rented the house for 3 days, invited our friends (total: 6 families with kids), and we had the best time. The house was super clean, big enough for all of us and it had everything we need. There is a big pool, tennis court for the day fun for everyone, and there is a Game Center for evening/night fun. Kids were busy with swimming and playing in the center, while adults enjoyed the breathtaking view, making food on grill and talking on the porch. The owner provided the best customer service, he sent us directions ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone.

Terrific Getaway

5 of 5
The power of the internet brought us to you and Newfane and we find ourselves among friends! That you for trusting your treasure to strangers -- we enjoyed relaxing here as much as our children loved the pool and the penny candy. We enjoyed reading and walking and talking. The bookstore is fantastic and the events on the town green make me long for village life. But, it's back to our little city in the morning. Thanks for the respite.

A slice of heaven in Vermont

5 of 5
What an amazing experience. I was looking for technology detox and to relax after the first four months of middle school teaching and I got even more than I expected. The owner was such a pleasure to deal with and the accommodations were cozy and inviting. The house is set away in the woods, but with an amazing backyard view of the mountains. It is very accessible to all the necessities - homemade food, hiking trails, and clean air. The house had two woodburning stoves - one in the dowsnstairs bedroom, and one upstairs in the living area. I loved the loft bed and the skylight windows that either showed off the amazing night sky or got snow covered after a typical Vermont storm. The driveway was plowed for us without having to make a call and the highways are always cleared. Take advantage of all the surrounding towns with the antique stores, homemade pies, and the snowshoeing trails. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to just get away!
