Everything you could want or need!

5 of 5
We rented this home primarily because it is pet friendly, but also because of it's close proximity to Mt. Snow. It was absolutely perfect. There were four adults, two infant children and two dogs with us. The house can sleep many many more. Christine was attentive after our booking in providing information about the surrounding area and about the house. Even the kitchen was nearly fully stocked with all the basics you need to just make a quick run to the grocery store and cook up a storm! The fireplace was beautiful and the hot tub, although we didn't end up using it, was hot and immaculately clean...just like the rest of the home which was spotless. Also, the back deck overlooking the stream in the yard was incredible at night. We made some wonderful meals and would sit out under the stars listening to that river. This home was fantastic. It will definitely be my first choice for a home rental while visiting the Mt. Snow are.

A Great Get-Away

5 of 5
Not being skiers my wife and i had never been to Mt Snow. However, the unusually beautiful fall foliage prompted us to spend a weekend there and we chose Columbus Day weekend when Oktoberfest was held. Previous reviewers were correct that the condo was conveniently located with plenty of free parking. The place was bright, spacious, had a well equipped kitchen and excellent TV reception. We ate in the condo and also at the nearby Last Chair restaurant which served delicious food with large portions. We definitely intend to go back there with another couple as there is plenty of room for all of us. Staying in this quality place means that you don't have to be a skier to enjoy Mt. Snow.

Beautiful home with gorgeous views

5 of 5
After vacationing at the beach earlier this summer, we knew we wanted a change of scenery. After looking at many rentals in Vermont, we knew this home would be perfect for our group of four couples. We had a wonderfully relaxing, stress-free week! The home was at the end of a very quiet road, with beautiful views. Martha was great to rent from, and was quick to respond whenever a need arose. The home was pretty much found as expected. The main level kitchen and living room were a pleasure to relax in. We all felt like professional cooks in that kitchen! All bedrooms were large and open feeling, although we only were able to occupy four. We could have easily fit another 4 people comfortably. No complaints about the beds, the linens were all clean and comfortable. When we wanted to go about and explore, we found the home in a great proximity to everything. Just down the road in Wilmington, we were able to buy our groceries for the week. We also ate at a few restaurants in town. Nearby Brattleboro and Bennington had great shopping. The West Dummerston Covered Bridge in Brattleboro was fun to see. Honora Winery in Jacksonville was a nice place to visit one rainy day. We also took a drive up to Killington one day to take the gondola to the top of the peak. The views were incredible! One problem we had was cell service. We all had Verizon as our cell phone carrier, and did not get very good service (it was pretty non-existant) in all of southern Vermont, including the house. I think we heard that AT&T works best in that area. The house's internet was also spotty, I found I had the best on the nightstand by the window in the pink bedroom upstairs. Overall, the house was beautiful. I will agree with another commenter however, that it will probably need to be painted soon.
