Perfect for a ski weekend

5 of 5
This house was perfect for a weekend at Okemo, located just ten minutes away. The house was even bigger and cozier than it appears in the pictures, and it is far enough from the street and neighbors that it also affords a lot of privacy. The DVD collection is the biggest one I've ever seen, and the wood burning stove is in a room that is perfect for watching movies or sitting around and playing games. There is a grocery store about fifteen minutes away that sells firewood, which I highly recommend picking up before you arrive because once you get settled in at this place, you won't feel like leaving again for awhile. Despite below zero temperatures, the hot tub was nice and hot and a great way to relax at the end of each day. Ward was very friendly and easy to communicate with, and he provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. He was also quick to return our security deposit. We can't wait to return to this place!

Great Family weekend in Country Setting

5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed the house. We were 13 and everyone was accommodated comfortably. The house was completely as promised. There was adequate service in the kitchen for all. The two fireplaces make for great gathering spots in the house. The fireplace in the kitchen/dining room was very welcome as we shared meals and / or played games at the kitchen table. Okemo is very nearby, exactly as promised. The main mountain base is well organized. A few of us did try Harrys (restaurant at JCT of 100/103) and found it to be very good. Be sure to think of reservations in advance. Kids and adults had a great time sledding behind the house on a non ski day. Great house for multiple families or a family reunion.
