GREAT PLACE FOR A REUNION, OR LARGE PARTIES

5 of 5
We are a non-profit organization of young snowboarders and skiiers who travel in groups of 20-25 to VT for our yearly retreat. The house can comfortably accommodate 20+ guests, with a layout that allows for everyone to spend time together in one area. It's fairly close to the shops and village and about 20-30 minutes from Stratton Mountain. With plenty of bathrooms, everyone had quick access to the shower after a long run on the slopes and there's plenty of parking. We enjoyed staying at this house so much that we came back for the second time this year! We recommend this house for large groups, families with children, family reunions and group retreats!

GREAT RENTAL!

5 of 5
My boyfriend and I come up to Manchester every year to do some fly fishing, reading, and relaxing, with our little pug. This was the first time we used homeaway.com to find a rental, and the pictures did not do this condo justice. It rained for most of the weekend, and we hunkered down next to the fire, worked on the wifi when we needed to, and cooked some really great feasts in the large kitchen and were able to eat at the table together (a luxury coming from Manhattan!) The location was right in town (I walked into town a couple of days), and the property was very clean and well-maintained. The owner was accessible virtually on-call when I had questions about the wifi and location of the house. Another plus is the neighbors that live nearby. We met a few of them while walking our dog, and all were very friendly. It was nice and quiet at night, so you felt secluded from the tourism of Manchester in the fall, but still part of a little community. This was really the perfect place to stay. We will definitely stay at this place again on one of our next visits. Thank you!

PERFECT LITTLE GETAWAY

4 of 5
First, as you pull up, you are blown away by size of this home. The house appears to be small, but oddly, is quite roomy inside. We had a family of 5 in this house, and had plenty of space. The house offers everything you need. The young kids loved the balcony overlooking the living area and had no problem staying occupied for several days. And when we took it outside, they loved to walk down the hillside and hike on the side of the mountain. Sometimes its the little things that matter, and stocked "fire starters" logs were perfect to get the fires ripping immediately. You are about a ten minute drive to the heart of Manchester Center without all of the traffic and busy-ness and even less to the Mountain for skiing. This home is well within the budget of anyone looking to rent in this area and gives you a warm, cozy feeling of being on an intimate vacation with your family. Also, the owners are very attentive to questions and answer emails very quickly!
