Highly Recommend This Beautiful Rental

5 of 5
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in this VT. home. This house is beautifully decorated and the grounds and lake made for a very relaxing week. My family loved kayak/canoeing on the lake, bonfires and roasting s'mores. I, myself, could not get enough of laying on the hammock! There are also many attractions nearby, so the children enjoyed their action packed time. I do have to mention a few things about the house - 1. It is FULLY stocked! You only need to bring your personal items, clothing and toiletries, and groceries (kayaks, canoes, life jackets are also provided). 2. It is very nicely decorated. The owner could make a branch look like art. Oh wait...she did! 3. Super clean. 4. The owner is wonderful to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a perfect time!

Beautiful home in a GREAT location

5 of 5
The house is even nicer in person. Everything is new and clean and the bathrooms are gorgeous. We loved every minute of staying here. The lawn is big and great for games like frisbee, the fire pit is perfect and they left a shed full of wood for us to use. Paper towels, TP, bath towels, sheets, everything was provided and that made it SOO easy! From the dock, the lake isn't really all that swimable (shallow water with lillypads and mud) but there is a floating dock right off the dock (not sure if that belongs to the house or not) and there is a public beach down the road in the state park. There is also a main road across the lake (which is narrow at that part) from the house which we were surprised by, but it really didn't bother us ONE BIT! There was a kayak and a canoe that we took out and paddled around the lake which was great fun! For breakfast, try Cafe deLight (skip the Hatchery). Make sure you go to Buttermilk Falls (cold water but fun!) We had a blast and would ABSOLUTELY rent again. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!

Quiet Relaxing Getaway - Perfect!!

5 of 5
The Seibert Home is the perfect retreat; Homey, quiet, and scenic with all the modern amenities. It is obvious that the owner and property manager care about the house and property - everything is beautifully maintained. From NJ, the 4 1/2 hour drive was very easy - I will definitely rent again. As a wannbe fisherman, the dock was perfect. Our daughter and her friend loved canoeing around the lake and we all enjoyed floating on the rafts and swimming although my guess is that July and August are "best" for swimming. On a wish list for my next visit? A rowboat with a small motor would be a great addition to an already perfect setting.
