Hard to find a better place!

We have been renting from the Williams for a number of years now and look forward to coming back every year. The house is wonderfully appointed so even if you have folks in your group who don't like the outdoors, they are just as comfortable in the warm and comforting surroundings of the house. Great skiing/boarding at Okemo is just a 5 minute drive and the town of Ludlow is charming and accomodating. The owners are very responsive and helpful, answering any questions and responding immediately to any calls we ever made to them during our stay. I also find it surprising that in such a well appointed property, they still improve it every year. They have it set up so you feel just like you're at home. I would recommend this property to a friend or relative.

We loved the country charm and beautiful location.

What a gem in the woods. Located at the far end of Lake Rescue in a small cove, the space was perfect for our needs. Rustic and very clean with all the emenities the five of us needed. From daily water skiing (off our own private dock), canoeing, kayaking, swimming and yes, swinging off the nearby island rope, it was a blast. Nightly grilling and relaxing on the deck was tasty & relaxing. Day trips into the town of Ludlow, up the road to Killington, Woodstock, Quechee (sp.) Gorge, driving through the parks or seeing cheese made at Crowley cheese factory made each day memorable. We will definately be back to our new temporary home away from home.

Lake Rescue Chalet is a place for a quiet, peaceful, restful vacation. It is a short, traffic free, beautiful drive from just about all of Vt's major attractions. It is an easy drive from central Conn., a perfect place to enjoy all of the Vt. seasons and their corresponding activities. Great place for a family reunion, roomy.
