Quiet and expansive

5 of 5
Thank you for the opportunity to rent your lovely home in VT. We had an awesome and relaxing time. It's hard and expensive to travel with four kids of all different ages (18, 17, 13 and 16 mths), so your home and amenities was exactly what we needed. Enough space for each of us to have our own space, internet for the teenagers, space to ride our dirt bikes, play some badminton, relax on the porch and allow the baby to wander around the yard without the fear of him going into the street. Even though the only thing we caught in the pond was a turtle we still had fun trying. The only downside, was that they seem to be logging a few streets over and we could hear them all day during the week, so that took away from the nature sounds, but other than that it was perfect. There are a TON of toys in the ottoman. We didn't notice them until the morning that we were leaving. I never thought to open it, I only opened when we were leaving to make sure the kids didnt put something inside and behold all the toys! Thank you for being so prompt and responsive to all our questions. We would definitly recommend this property to our friends and relatives.

Love the Clubhouse!

5 of 5
This is the second time our large group (27) has stayed at the clubhouse. We just love it here! The beds are so comfortable and it is so convenient to town. Just a five minute walk to Shaws, Dunkin Donuts and the pizza shop. The hot tub is great and the kids are constantly playing in the river behind the clubhouse or at the local park around the corner. We love to spend our summers in Ludlow - short drive to Plymouth State Park/Echo Lake and Buttermilk falls swimming hole. Other favorite day trips are to the Vermont and Weston Country Stores, Weston Priory, trips to enjoy the view from the top of Okemo and swimming/cliff jumping at the Dorset Marble Quarry. Haven't even left yet and can't wait to come back!

Stunning Mountain-Top Family Retreat

5 of 5
Our family group of 14 adults and two little ones had the most relaxing and fun vacation at this architectural marvel. Every aspect of this modern adaptation of a castle is custom and frames the breathtaking mountain views. The huge yet warm rooms provided plenty of space for everyone to gather and also to have privacy. The peace in the midst of 300 acres on top of a mountain was palpable--there is total silence. Our large contingent of 20-something cousins had a ball playing foosball inside, and wiffle ball, frisbee, etc. on the huge flat lawn outside. We also rented a kayak and canoe, delivered to the property, which was fun for everyone. In short, this is the dream country retreat and we would happily return.
