Perfect for a ski weekend

5 of 5
This house was perfect for a weekend at Okemo, located just ten minutes away. The house was even bigger and cozier than it appears in the pictures, and it is far enough from the street and neighbors that it also affords a lot of privacy. The DVD collection is the biggest one I've ever seen, and the wood burning stove is in a room that is perfect for watching movies or sitting around and playing games. There is a grocery store about fifteen minutes away that sells firewood, which I highly recommend picking up before you arrive because once you get settled in at this place, you won't feel like leaving again for awhile. Despite below zero temperatures, the hot tub was nice and hot and a great way to relax at the end of each day. Ward was very friendly and easy to communicate with, and he provided us with all the information we needed for our stay. He was also quick to return our security deposit. We can't wait to return to this place!

Huge place, homey feel, close to Okemo

5 of 5
Had a wonderful stay with five friends in January. Sue was easy to work with during the booking process, and extremely responsive and flexible with the one minor snafu I encountered. Would definitely book again. Note the upstairs can get a bit chilly (ground floor is perfect) and Sue does provide space heaters in each bedroom.

A Wonderful Get Away!

5 of 5
This charming Farmhouse is the perfect get away for extended family or a group of friends! My family fit comfortably in the house, relaxed by the fire, and had some great meals with plenty of places to sit. It was a quick drive to Okemo Mt (20 minutes) for those of us who chose to ski, and plenty to do for those who do not ski. It is a quick ride into downtown Ludlow with places to eat, or we could stay on the farm and enjoy the beautiful Vermont surroundings. I highly recommend taking a wonderful horse drawn sleigh ride around the farm and through the woods on their property, as well as visit the many sheep and horses they have on the farm. The owners of the farm are extremely friendly and accommodating. The pictures of this farm house do not do it justice, we all found it to be larger and even more charming in person than the pictures portray!
